Ground directly to the soil instead of a wall socket. A 30 cm solid copper rod pushed into damp earth — a garden bed, a lawn edge, a balcony planter of real soil — with a 12 m lead that runs through a window to your bed or desk. The lead is thin enough for most windows to close on it.

For homes where no socket has a verified earth, for balconies and gardens, or simply if you prefer the most direct path. Both routes end in the same soil; the socket uses the wire your building already ran, the rod skips it.

Setup & Testing

Snap the cord onto your sheet or mat, plug into the earth pin of any local 3-pin socket, done. No electricity flows — the cord is a path, not a power line. Two checks prove a setup: the socket tester confirms the outlet has a live earth; the tester pen confirms the product's material conducts. Care & Longevity

  • Keep the soil moist — a dry planter is the most common reason a rod setup stops working. Water it as you would a plant.
  • Check the terminal monthly for corrosion; wipe clean and re-tighten the lead.
  • Route the lead so it isn't pinched in a window frame or door.
